About the only thing I can find online any info on is the Ruger 10/22 1261 tactical. Does anyone have any experience with anything else. I would rather have a semi for small varmints and goofing off. I am going to suppress it so it has to be threaded and want to hunt with thermal on it at night, so the ability to to have a picatinny is needed.

I do have a some .22's that I will not have threaded, so the only option is a new one. I will probably end up looking for a .22 mag also threaded.

Not really looking to go the AR route. Wife cannot stand the way they look, therefore will not shoot them. Wont even touch my 6.8. Any other rifle is fine with her. Mental block.

Got one of these here on the forum but haven’t shot it yet. Plan to try it out in a couple of weeks. Good reviews and feels like a nice gun.

Is that a bull barrel on it?

I would consider it a bull barrel. Mine measures at .85 at the end

Since you’re dropping the bucks for a suppressor and thermal, just go ahead and get a new barrel for a 10/22. For hunting I would go with a carbon barrel from Volquartson or other reputable mfg.

SA means single action to some of us so I couldn't wait to see a Heritage Rough Rider chopped, threaded, and suppressed but alas...no.

Pass the gravy.
