Nice pics, just like a fox, I won’t kill one unless I want to mount it!

Saw a couple about 10 years back. An hour or two SE of you. I havent been around bears, but this is the only wild animal ive been around that I felt like he would just as soon come at me as away from me. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/11/full-45514-266447-47a5db32b3127cce98548ff48cef00000030100ecm2tro0bn5.jpg)

Saw a couple about 10 years back. An hour or two SE of you. I havent been around bears, but this is the only wild animal ive been around that I felt like he would just as soon come at me as away from me. Had one back me down one night walking back to my truck. Here I am 5'11" and 175 and something 10" tall that might weight 20 lbs is sending me off the trail and out through the prickly pears. I actually unslung my 7 mag and thought I was going to have to use it. I've said it before, those things are born grumpy and never outgrow it.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I know we have them, but I've never laid eyes on one. Very cool animals.

Great pics! I have had many of them on the short end of a snare before.....they are not fun to deal with if you are trying to release one. I have seen quite a few in the daylight but never gotten a pic of one yet.

I've seen exactly two in all my years afield. One in South Texas on a ranch right on the Rio Grande and one in a very unexpected place 'Mills County' (Goldthwaite) about 30 years ago.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!
