How's the acorn crop in the hill country this year? I've heard not as good as past few years, which helps the hunting I think.
Heading to Llano in 2 weeks, also very dry I've heard.

Not exactly the Hill country but in Coryell Co we very few acorns. May help the hunting but sure does fatten up the deer when we have a good crop. Although they seem fat as can be this year from what I have seen.

My Cuzs place near Cherry Springs in Llano co is super dry with very few acorns. Deer are in fairly good shape considering.....and hitting feeders very hard.
Good luck

There's a few acorns, very spotty. It has been dry but we got a decent rain on Friday and Saturday.
