I inherited a rifle that was drilled and tapped a little off and can't adjust.

Anybody have experience with these?

They have shims that come in a kit with the rings to adjust the scope height, but there is not right or left adjustment......

Marc - rotate those and you'll get right and left...nothing says you can't put the inserts () like that inside the rings.

I use and have used the XTR rings (don't have any currentlyb but I have the signature zee rings on every bench gun I own) but I can't say I've used the inserts in this manner. However, Burris addresses this issue in their instructions on the inserts.

Yes, it'll work...order them.

The illustration show that they can chase the bullet ant direction. Not so?

That's good info Judd, I have the rings on my 6.5CR and was not aware they could be used that way as well.......up

Weld up those bad holes and drill and tap new ones.

The Signature Zee rings work well. There is also a very good video on Youtube.

Fireman, I tried that with 2 different gunsmiths. They never got around to it.

I have a rifle that shoots about a foot and a half to the left. I used the Burris rings to correct and zero. They worked fine , just follow the instructions.

I have used them on several other rifles, just not to correct for left to right, and like them.
