Do you want mudders, If so I have set of 4 tires & rims almost new, with maybe 25-40 miles on them. I changed leases & have no need of them. 28x9x14 6 ply

I’m not really sure on mudders. My current ones are pretty aggressive but mainly drive on rocky roads and such. I probably need a minimum of 8ply. Just curious what other guys have had good luck with.

Truck mud tires are equivalent to a mild all terrain for SxS’s. In my opinion, the only time one should consider a DOT truck tire for a ITV is if they will be spending a considerable amount of time on the street.

Check out the Maxxis Carnivores. I just stuck a set on my Canam defender and they are great. Smooth on hard pack, do well in soft sugar sand, fairly decent in deep mud but they like to be spun pretty fast, and they surprisingly did very well in snow.

Literally the same tire, just in sizes for UTV’s. Again, a typical MT tire for a truck is going to be an all terrain tire for a UTV. Lots of guys riding hard pack rock trails in Arizona and Utah like the BFG KM3. Maxxis Carnivores, or System 3 tires are a god “all terrain” or all around tire for a UTV. If you want more of a mud tire, I’d look at the Intimidators.

Plys are the same but sidewalls arent as stiff on the utv version. We have a 80/20 mix of neighborhood riding and offroad. I can stand directional tread, I like to rotate my own tires.

Then those tires will be great for you.

I'm going to put some truck tires on my Pro-FXT after this season is over. We don't have a lot of mud on our place, but do have a ton of rock and loose rock. There are very few places I can't go out there in my mule in 2WD with the diff unlocked. Can't imagine truck tires will be problem. And they'll last longer and be smoother.

Thanks for the input. I ordered some kanati mongrel 10 ply tires today. As with everything else, the virus has manufacturers backlogged so nothing is in stock. bang

You're gonna really like these tires, we run them on 4 Pro FTX mules here at the ranch and have had great luck with them. They also ride the smoothest of any tire we've ever used.
