I’ve waited forever, or what seems like forever for this day. My grandsons have been going to the lease since they were tiny babies. Well 7 short or 7 long years later depending on you’re view, my oldest grandson pulled off a double this morning. Group of 8 turkey came in and he dropped two with one shot. We practiced a lot and he got very good at shooting. When he tried to line up the shot, he kept saying “they won’t stand still”. In the end he pulled it off and I couldn’t be more proud. I hope I’ve created a lasting legacy and a life long hunter and outdoorsman. He was using a new Stevens 410 dedicated turkey gun and Federal TSS ammunition. If you want a turkey gun combo for the kiddos I highly recommend this setup. He’ll help me clean the birds with a custom knife I had Mike C make for him.
