Been awhile, nice beautiful evening... Slug season been going on,  been reports of several big deer taken in area's we hunt... 1 big one hit by car... Here it's legal tis legal, so whin a big deer (servied several hunting seasons), tis taken its news.. Archery can take buck or doe, the gun hunts, shotgun/muzzleloader & muzzleloader. Ya have ta apply for doe tag... Thars a lot of gun hunters, & it's about  en & chillen... So if a buck makes it threw a year or two & more.. They are very hunter savay... Thar not a lot of places, (woods), ta hide yet they servive year after year... This covid thing, got things messed up, bro & my mom are @different area... Were i work been few with covid... Cams been showing does, fawns, younger bucks, & turkeys... Any ways, hope ya all get chance ta get out thar & enjoy...  feels good ta be back in the stand... Just ta get away from this   going on...

 Thank ya sir... Seen deer heading my way @ 5:02 over ridge were they usualy come from... 5:06 seen deer roughly 20-25 yrds from were first deer stopped get up... Twas a bigger deer unfortunately it moved other direction... Followed trail away... Deer been hunted hard & spooky... Bro had seen 3 nothing in range, one headed towards my mom,none with in range .. But felt great ta be back in the stand.

i'm up in Minnesota SW part... Hunting here tis a big thing, family/friends party hunt... Its changed over the 30+ years been in  ... Used ta be 3months archery, had a 1 day buck/doe draw.. & a 3 day buck only shotgun/muzzleloader with a w week buck only muzzleloader, in 12 different counties... Cap & ball, back then, used .45 Kentucky.. Now ya see deer stands sitting... longer shotgun/muzzleloader 2 weeks & Muzzleloader, most every one uses in-lines. 3 weekends ... Still have family/friends party hunt... Tis little differant... Ya tis a good time...

Plenty type hunts... Around were i live it mostly farm land, few trees... Further north lots of woods, were i wanna do a muzzleloader hunt...  Winona. Lived roughly 10 miles from Winona Tx... Trying figure were that is in MN. i'm west of cities, & Rochester tis North of cities, if not mistaken... Give a shout some time... Archery deer was $100.00 outa state back whin i was in TX... Now its roughly $180.00 outa state... Best wish's on hunts stay Safe...
