It's time for a new vacuum sealer. What are some of the better ones out there. I've been at the food saver from academy because
it seems to have pretty good reviews.

Go with it.

I am about to pull the trigger on the Weston Pro 2300. My old food saver is about to give up the ghost. It`s more than I want to spend, but you seem to get what you pay for and the reviews on the Texas Bowhunter`s Forum are really good on this model.

You can pay them now or pay them later.

I have this exact model, along with 2 Food Savers. Food Savers are good for small batches of meat and soft stuff, but I had to upgrade to the Weston when it kept overheating bagging batches of sausage. Bagging smoked sausage the Food Saver also didn’t do a very good job of getting all of the air out. Speaking of which, I have 100 lbs of deer sausage in the smokehouse now that I’ll be bagging up with the Weston in the morning.

I want a chamber sealer.
