These over unders have always intrigued me... The only one I've ever seen in public was a stainless synthetic 20 gauge... Does anybody own one ?what are your thoughts about them?

I have one in 20ga. They are heavy. Much better options are out there for upland. They are great for dove hunting.

I have one in 20ga with an English stock and love it. My dad gave it to me as a college graduation gift and it will always be special for me. It is heavy as scalebuster mentioned but I’ve used it on dove, ducks, quail and pheasant.

Had one in 20 for a short time. They have an auto safety that goes on when you break it open....great for youngsters and teaching safety, sucks for skeet and other clay sports. The barrel dividers can be removed, giving them that cool split barrel look.

Do not trifle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Decent entry level O/U. Others have already touched on their pros and cons. I prefer a lighter gun for carrying afield.

I have a 1991 Red Label 12 Gauge. I’ve owned from day one. I believe it was $799 or $899 back in in 1991 if I remember right. I’ve owned and shot lots of different shotguns. It’s a solid shotgun and shoots like a dream. I would like to add a 20 one day. I believer the older Red Labels are awesome shotguns if you can find one for sale.
