This fall the hog population has gone nuts around Abilene, especially my area NE. I finally broke down and bought a RidgeTec cell cam and set it up near my feeder in my east field. This thing has been awesome for my night pig blasting. Monday night, the third time, I finished supper and was relaxing in the recliner. Phone buzzes and a hog at the feeder. While I’m getting dressed and get gear together the wife has my phone and hollers 3 pigs. Grab the rifle which has a new AGM Secutor TS50, Deathgrip tripod and Pulsar Axion 38. I get about 200 yards and check the feeder with handheld, pigs still there. I ease on up to about 75 yards from the feeder and set up. I punch 1st hog behind shoulder and the race is on. I hit one running and swing to my left and one is standing broadside about 100 out. Bang flop he’s down. Scan back south and one is standing in the brush. Love this new thermal scope. Ease up to him and hit in lungs . He takes off running broadside and I hit him 3 more times . Tough boar taking 6.8 hits. Nailed all three of the pigs. In my haste to get out I forgot my Streamlight and iPhone. Decided to make a daytime recovery
