Behind the house I've had hogs on camera for months. Knew this was the biggest boar in the bunch. For the last 2 weeks about 2 in the afternoon I'd go back and sprinkler more corn than the feeder would throw. Noticed on camera they were coming in within 2 hours after me leaving. Today was the day I went back at 3 sprinkled corn, got in the stand and less than 10 minutes later here they come. At first it was 2 sows and babies and this big boar and 3 others were hung up at the back. One sow kept circling to the north, there was a stiff south wind. They new something wasn't right. Didn't want that sow leading everyone off so I took the shot 45 yards. Shot him in the neck with a 300 WSM with a 180 gr Accubond he didnt know what hit him.
Skinned the head out and will be boiling a Euro mount tomorrow.

Look at the armour on this guy, he was a fighter.

Great boar, too bad you couldn't take out the sow too. Kill one sow and you kill 18 pigs minimum in a year.

The boar was my target now I'll go to work on them.
