I've been looking on the Army Corps of Engineers site and looking at the maps just curious if it's best to hunt by boat or if you can walk in.

If you drive out there, you'll see it better.

Walkin access is very limited. Boat in is the way to go. If you don't have a boat and want to get out, I guides in that area.

Stickin' gills and Stackin' bills

In a world of compromise..... some dont....

best by boat. but be prepared for the large number of jacka$$es. I quit hunting Waco because the amount of BS we encountered was just not worth it anymore.

On Waco , boat is best. They have draw deer hunts on the different units there.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I drove out to Waco and looked around and didn't see much to walk in so that's why I was asking if it's more boat then walk in. I haven't been to Belton yet but I will look around also but I appreciate your response.
