We have several close friends that live far away & we send gift baskets to every Christmas. In order of popularity here are the good & poor choices (JIMHO of course) BIG Hits!- Danish Bakery Kringle Cakes (this gets rave thank-you's)
- Nueske's Bacon Sampler (this gets rave thank-you's)
- Kansas City Steak Co. (who doesn't like steak? - but $$$)
Flops- Hickory Farms (unexciting)
- Fruit Baskets (expensive shipping)
Looking for new ideas this year. Please share your recommendations & comments if you send or receive holiday baskets.

we used to send a lot of the Harry and David gift baskets. People liked them, but they were pricey. Thankfully we only sent a couple every year. https://www.harryanddavid.com/h/fruit-gift/pearsNot sure if that's the one you are referring to on the fruit basket flop list.

I must admit those pears look great! We've received fruit baskets in the past but never any from H & D. Thanks for the suggestion.
