Out in Brady, they couldn’t have been less interested. Hoping the cool front this weekend wakes them up.

Recently started in Montague County. I shot a nice 10 point buck yesterday that had a broken tip on one antler.

They've been rutting hard for a couple of weeks up here.

I'm seeing a lot of chasing and sparring action now. But the big guys aren't coming into the open until well after dark.

Caught this guy out in the open over a week ago.

Since then I haven't seen any when there was sufficient light for a photo. And we have nearly a foot of snow now.

Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.

In Coleman we are getting mixed signals as of last weekend. 2 bucks sparring hard but may just be claiming territory and 3 year olds are chasing but the rut should be hitting this week.

Watched a good buck chasing a doe last Saturday is Pottsboro, heard of decent rut activity in the Archer area last weekend.

They've been chasing in Erath. Warm weather has slowed things down but has remained steady. I had the biggest buck I've ever seen on our place below me this morning eating hand corn. This deer will hopefully be killed by my brother next week. Cameras are showing more nighttime movement . I'm sure it's due to the warm weather.

Been strange here in Lee county, I haven’t seen any active chasing but last Saturday evening and Sunday morning I didn’t see a single deer which is extremely unusual. I guess bucks were locked down with does because the early rut always happens early November but I always see chasing in late October or early November but not this year, maybe I missed it. Either way I shot a good buck in October and we always see good deer in December so we’ll see what happens. I can shoot a spike and doe so I have plenty of time but I do wonder what happened to the rut?

Off and on in Coryell county. Have seen some chasing does and then a lot like they aren't even worrying about it at all.

Williamson county: nothing major just yet. The young bucks are chasing and pushing but haven’t seen any receptive females. The big guys aren’t out much during daylight as I’ve only caught them on camera at night.

Next to Lake Travis is a different story. I’ve rattled in several nice 10 pointers into my yard and they’re in prime rut right now.

Mills County... they have been chasing since before Halloween and the last few weeks have been intense. Breeding on the 9th and we watched another breed on the 13th.

tbgascorer, we are Mills as well. We didn’t see any signs of rut. Mature 9 sniffed a couple doe that passed by and then continued eating corn. A reputable source in Mills had the same report as you. Hopefully our places turns on soon.

Our peak has always been the first couple weeks of November. But as many does as we have, you may see a buck chase at any time during the season.

I was out Robert Lee way last weekend and didn't see any chasing but then again, I didn't see any does at the feeders.
Saw multiple bucks posturing at the feeders and several with broken tines. Headed back Sunday to see if the cooler weather has em chasing. I am west of the lake.
