Skinner don't be hard headed, you got to do it. But don't worry till till you are fifty. My wife did not want to get one, and good thing she did, saved her life.

Sending in stool samples will not tell them if polyps need to be remove, which will happen most of the time. You guys don't F around with this, get checked out. This is my last post and sound advice for this tread.

People makes way too much out of this simple procedure. Being an intermittently used one way thoroughfare, mine was found to be in good order.

My grandmother died of colon cancer at 50. I had to start early because of that. It’s really one of easiest procedures to have done. The prep the night before is worst part.

It can save your life!

Bears repeating.
Two of the nine polyps removed from me were pre-cancerous.

Had a couple. Schedule an early procedure. Your prep begin time depends on when porcedure is scheduled.

Sooo... my first one was scheduled for 11 AM. No food after 6 PM on prior day. Prep didnt begin untill 10 PM. It was a long sleepless night.

Tired and hungry.

No issues here. (2 of those lovely bad boys) Had a few adult beverages and big meals after. Good luck! Prep is by far the worst. Everything else is a breeze.

After being up all night, all I wanted to do was go home and sleep. But when I woke up, I ate whatever I wanted to. Skinner, wait until your PSA levels dictate a prostrate biopsy. The colonoscopy was nothing compared to that.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

Yup Skinner....Or just wait until they have to remove your colon and give you a colostomy bag. Then you don’t have to worry about anything entering or exiting your butt

My go to meal after the procedure is biscuits and gravy at Dove Creek Cafe in Roanoke... it's just down the street from my gastro doc's clinic.
