Hunt east of English, not many shots being heard. Took a doe opening day, saw a nice tall 8 pt yesterday am, but only about 12” wide. Have some smaller bucks, couple nice bucks that will make AR, but still running together and nocturnal mostly by checking cameras. Hope rut kicks in about next wknd, as can’t go this wknd.
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

I hunt north of Clarksville and have seen next to nothing which is unusual at this time of year. Cell cams have had very little activity as well. I am starting to think all the rain which flooded out our area last year impacted the deer. Usually in the middle of October the activity increases substantially which is not the case this year. I have been on this place for four years and this year has been the least productive.
