we used what is called a Z drag in swiftwater rescue, same principle but using a prusik on the main line you gain even more advantage. sling on the rope would work and be a whole lot less set up and hassle.

I can get that done a hell of a lot easier with some mexicans.

For what that guy has invested in rope and pulleys he could have bought a dozer.

I would have thought it to be more effective putting the ropes higher up on the stump vs so low?
