i Just moved to the temple area and it’s too late to find a lease I would think in the area. I know there is corps land not far from me but can’t seem to find any maps for access’s or boundaries anywhere. Can someone please help me out?

Wished I could lead you to maps. But this will get you to Temple USACE. You might also contact Fort Worth USACE (headquarters for area)

In central Texas I would investigate/Google :

Fort Hood hunting program
Lake Georgetown
Granger Lake
Waco,Whitney,Aquilla COE hunting areas

Some require applying and getting drawn for a permit, some do not. Good luck.

Would like to get a deer, but mainly looking for somewhere to just get in the woods after work and on weekends.
