What’s the lifespan of a stock battery for mule pro DX? Any recommendations for agm replacement? What’s a good, compact sized jump pack?

Battery life is probably directly proportional to how you take care of it, fill water, keep charged etc.

I have a 4040 diesel. Got the replacement battery at Batteries Plus. It's definitely held up better than the OEM. If you use it often or keep a battery tender on it, it obviously helps.

I have a red top Optima in a 3010, Think I'm going on 4 years now. Sits for months untouched in the off season and cranks right up when i need it.

I keep all the ATVs and the UTV and the tractor and even the riding mower on battery tenders. Makes the original batteries last much longer. For replacement, the gel-cell ones are good. I've also had good luck with Interstate batteries.

Interstate batteries are no longer top shelf batteries. John Deere batteries are now the best batteries out there.

It is very difficult to find gel cell batteries. Lot's of AGMs, but gel is very rare.

My OEM mule battery made it 5 years. Replaced with a Duralast Gold AGM last year when original started to miss, even with battery tender use for most of its life. Kubota battery went bad recently and it was also 5 years old.

Bought two Honda Rancher’s in 2000, same day. The battery in one lasted 10 years, the other 8 months.

My 2016 DX has 4 full seasons on it and is lightly used during the off season. I went ahead and replaced the battery a few days back because of past experiences. Kept the old one and it's on a tender jic I need it.

Of course if you can afford it, carry a NOCO with you.

I had bad luck with the OEM batteries. I couldn't get more than a year and a half out of one.
I replaced it with a group 24 deep cycle and I keep a trickle charger on that.

So far, I've had much better results with it.
