What do you think of this deer's head coloration? I don't think he's particularly old, but the light color of his head is rather unusual. The white coloration on his left rear leg makes me think he's just carrying some interesting genes around that his parents gave him.

I don't think he is old. No belly and chest. Legs to long.

Post the original pic not a cropped one. When was this pic taken? From the size of his hock and staining on it..I don't think he is a young deer by any means. I could see him being mature and possibly post mature with more pics.

Look at his front right leg, he has piebald genes in him. I wouldn't be shocked at all if his front was mostly white and not just a patch.

We have bucks and does in our pasture that have the same color traits. They are a very small percentage of the deer herd....1 buck and 1 doe we have on camera....
