I am getting ready to start processing some game to make ground meat and summer sausage and I needed some poly bags and a tape machine. Best price I found on them was from MEAT! 4.99 per 100 or 42.99 per 1000. And their tape machine was only 19.99. Looks like they make some good machines. Where do you order your supplies from?

I order most of my supplies from Allied Kenco Sales, out of Houston. I’m like a kid in a candy store in that place.

Tape machine and bags come from LEM products. I used to buy from another supplier, but it was 4000 bags in a case. and split amongst a bunch of people I knew.

I bought mine at Academy and the bags at Cabela`s. I have a 1.5 hp grinder with a # 32 grinder head and bought a #32 stuffing horn from Allied Kenco.

The bag that holds one lb of ground meat. And the tape machine will seal the bag and put tape on it then cut it.

I’m planning on making breakfast sausage out of hogs and have a deer we’re gonna grind most of it for just ground meat. The one lb bags will be much cheaper than vac sealing everything and it will be easier as well.

Allied Kenco. I use 2# bags and the mini hog ring closure. Brother had the tape machine. I prefer the rings.

Yep. I have the tape machine, but you have to get the hang of it. I prefer the mini rings too.

We still wrap burger in freezer paper and no reason to change. I have used the bags but still prefer the paper and tape.

Dang. I live 30 minutes north of Allied Kenco. Never heard of it. I'm going to have to go check it out. Their website looks like they have some cool stuff.

Man that place looks dangerous, glad I really never am close to them.
