We hunt a 300 acre property in Blanco County. All our neighbors are small acreage with lots of hunting pressure.Took this guy yesterday afternoon after the weak cold front arrived and flipped the wind. He was chasing doe. I thought both brow tines were forked, but only one side was. The other had a small kicker near the other brow. Still has alot of character. Aged at 4.5 years old. It is rare to see any 8 point or better make it to the next year. This was my yearly hunt with Dad, and he got his personal best 10 point last year. Blessed to get to make these memories.
