I stayed an extra day at the lease and had no one to help me load a pig monday morning that I shot. I dragged the pig about 20 yards over to a drop off ridge, pulled my 4 wheeler up to the side of the ridge and made a log bridge. It worked quiet well.

It's easier if you don't shoot monster pigs.

Why not just tie the hog to the hitch on the 4wheeler and drag it out?

Nice big hog! Did you get a weight on it?

You need to shoot smaller pigs.

Congratulations on a nice hog.

I found a technique that works well on deer. I'll lay the head and neck against the front of the rear fender of my ATV. Then I get on the rear rack, squat down, and reach down between my legs grab the antlers and lift it across the rear of the seat using the lifting strength of my legs. Once it's hanging over the seat, it's very easy to slide it back onto the rear rack. On a bigger buck, I might have to take a step back on the rear rack to get it to fall across the seat. For the average person, the legs are able to push roughly four times as much weight as their arms.
