I just got invited to go on a free quail hunt Saturday morning. I was told, not asked to brig and wear a mask. In going. How many of you would be in, if the hunt was in your venue and one of the best pastures in Texas over the years?

Why wouldn't you go? Does it upset you that you were "told" to bring and wear a mask or does the thought of wearing a mask bother you that much? I'd go in a heart beat. I'm betting social distancing kicks in while hunting and the mask is for close contact before and/or after the hunt.

He is a great host with two beautiful red setters. The forecast is perfect for a morning hunt. I'll be there with. A smile on my face.

Go Bill and have a good time. Walking and hunting I would drop my mask. In social gatherings I would wear my mask. CV is not a Scam or Joke.

Its a strange year. Being with friends and fellow outdoorsmen is tough this year...I'd do it in a heartbeat, even if it was not the best pasture in the area

Who ever it was that invited you to go hunting sounds like a responsible person who respects your well being. Kind of amazed as Texas becomes #1 in COVID cases that it is questioned by anyone.

I am frankly surprised by some of the reactions to this post. The person hosting the hunt makes the rules...only shoot the covey rise...only double guns...try to shoot the Bob's...I could go on but you get the idea...it is a matter of respect.
