Got in the stand at 5:30, a little before 6:30 I hear thrashing of tree limbs. I can make out at about 80 yards a buck getting after a cedar and making a scrape. At this point I’m counting the minutes and begging the sun to rise faster so I can make it out. He begins to move off and towards me. By this point it’s just a few minutes past 6:30 and enough light for me to make out he’s one I would be happy with. He walked within 28 yards. I’m thinking 130’s, 10 point with kickers front and back, good mass, heavy body, . He’s definitely a keeper in my book. Heard 5 shoots the rest of the morning. Saw a group of young bucks and a little bit of chasing. All in all a great day. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/11/full-40625-263215-d20edcc0_934e_425c_8f02_53df317f811f.jpeg)

I would think he would be a keeper. Hope so since you got him now, it’s past catch an release time. Nice buck congrats.
