Hunted this morning South of Bowie. Saw nothing and heard no shots. First time ever and I’ve owned the place for about 40 years

Pretty quiet here too, but saw too many deer. I need more tags. And an army.

I saw lots of does but no bucks, another guy I hunt with shot a 8 point. Only heard one other shot but that’s typical for us.

Some does and fawns is all I saw. No bucks

9 bucks and not a single doe, almost got a big ten but my dad shot a good 10. Bucks cruising big time today,

Thanks, at 79 he’s still getting it done. It brings me so much joy seeing him excited like he was today. He had 5 good bucks come by today and I think he picked the smallest one but he enjoyed it..

We're just southwest of Bowie by the lake and they were moving pretty good this morning. I shot my best buck yet and my dad got a nice one as well.

I heard 4 or 5 shots Sunday and saw a couple of small bucks, a spike and a doe. Other than possibly too many pigs, not sure what is going on.

Had a 8 point and a hog taken by a youth hunter last weekend and 2 Does, a spike and a hog by another hunter this weekend.

Tech harvested this one opening morning, almost too foggy to see. 6.5 year old eight point... congrats cuz.

Saw one doe and this buck following her. Son made a nice shot.

No shots heard but I saw plenty of deer.

I passed on 4 nice bucks this past weekend - 3 eights and a 9. All good racks. Maybe they can do some serious impregnating. I just want a doe right now, but they all seem to have fawns with them.

In past years I typically pass on shooting the nicer bucks early in the season. And almost every time I do that, they disappear and I don’t get a shot later. That’s Ok.

Hunted outside of Huntsville on a friend's place. I didn't see a single deer. Other guys saw a couple. Two shot.
Didn't hear that many shots all weekend.
I thing the moon had a lot to do with it because a came cam showed lots of activity between 12:00 and 5:00 AM for the past week.

There’s a lot of nocturnal activity on my place. The does are the worst. I see bucks during the mornings and evenings, but am not seeing the does unless I spotlight our yard feeder.

I saw lots of does, but no bucks this weekend. Did hear several shots in the distance, and a couple of them within a few minutes of legal hunting light, so assume a couple of neighbors got their target bucks early.

We saw one deer all weekend. 2 year old fork horn. My youngest boy put him down. His first buck and he was excited. He dropped him with a perfect neck shot with my 223 at 125 yards.

I hunted a big wheat field in Perrin all weekend...counted 9 rifles shots all around before 10am Saturday, but i didn't see a single deer
