Can anyone recommend a full-service lodge in NTX, ETX or Southern OK that runs quail/pheasant/chukar hunts? Trying to find a hunt for a friend's son for his birthday...
Thanks in advance!

For middle of the road pricing, try Terry at Upland Bird Country near Corsicana.
I don't know if he does small groups or only groups that book the entire facility. Never stayed with him, because I have a cabin close to there on the Trinity, but a couple of my friends stayed there with a big group last year and they were very pleased.

Steve has some of the best fields that I have ever seen for canned hunts. He has Pheasant and Quail..usually chucker. The also does a huge number of Tower Shoots each year.

I just booked one of his fields for Wednesday morning...we kinda felt sorry for my dogs after two hard running weekends in the Panhandle with nothing to show for it, so we're taking them out to play at Steve's place.

We all need to practice Whoa more.
