I am/ was shooting Hornady American whitetail 180g rounds and my last 2 shots, the cartridge has gotten stuck and won’t eject. I have to run a cleaning rod down the barrel to knock it out.... Has anyone experienced this with this rifle or do you think it’s the bullets?

How does the extractor/extractor spring look?

Not sure, I’ll have to look it over tonight after work. When I shot and went to bolt another round, the bolt came up but wouldn’t budge coming back. I ended up having to take a rubber mallet and knocking it loose.

It sounds like pressure signs. If so, the ammo is too hot for your rifle. I would recommend shooting any more of it then. Pressure signs are sticky bolt lift (what you describe) and ejector marks on the case head. If you post up a picture of the case head (where the writing and prime are), I can tell you if that's the issue.

Here's a good example of pressure signs on the case head.

If I remember correctly, the casing didn’t look near that bad... But it does seem like it was marked up a little.

I would be interested to know if there is any rule of thumb method for determining if a bolt would be called "sticky". TIA

Well I thought I saved the casing but appears that I threw it away or my child stashed it somewhere.... I did buy another brand of bullets and went down to 150 grain. Really hoping it’s just a bad batch
