Hard to know if it was them or the outfitter. For sure the outfitter was guilty as hell, he's already plead and been sentenced.

If guilty throw the book at them.
Said it before I'm done with most of the hunting shows, there's only a few I'll watch.
Get a pretty gal that can shoot a bow/gun and you have a hunting show.

$50 they beat the charges. I personally think they are innocent, and bet they fight to the bitter end
It's an interesting case of using a bad outfitter, and clients that caught feds doing some suspect things and spoke out about it publicly and filed suit before charges where even filled.
Feds have an interesting use of the lacy act sometimes. Either take our misdemeanor deal or we push felony lacy act.
They don't have any hunting sponsors but they do have multiple business they have started that are not related to hunting, they have means to fight them, it's obviously not about the money.
Like I said be interesting to watch this one play out, they could of taken JP COURT citations, but instead choose to go full bore and will challenge Felonies
