You might want to study up on intellectual property, such as trade names. You could spend money on everything related to your name change and then get a Cease and Desist letter in the mail...

Example: https://www.drakesrental.com/

I have been thinking about this since I read the thread this morning. I create a lot of my own marketing materials at work...well, I give the basic layout and then the marketing team gets it to where the university will approve it.

Overall, I really like E & E Rental. It's simple and to the point.

Event and Equipment Rental

Then incorporate E&E in some form as your logo.

Drake doesn’t appeal to the masses who don’t hunt. And it could very well be confused as a family name
Since you didn’t want to go that route

Drake is a fairly common last name.......Maybe "Eagle Event and Equipment Rental".

I just did this about a year ago. I really should of shortened the name but instead did a dba for the transportation side. the name is TMC Services & Transportation,LLC dba River Runners Transportation. The email is a novel so just refer to it as TMC.

I understand plenty of trademarks and intellectual property, which is the reason I am changing our company name now. There’s a lot more to actually naming and branding the company then just saying I like it. And yes once I actually started checking web domains registered names and trade marks I did find that company. But I do appreciate the heads up.

That is one thing I didn’t like about our website now long name and long email. I would like to keep it short and sweet.

I got lucky as it was long and the end was very specific. You need to be bouncing these of Kyle to see what domains are available.

I like sticking with the "E" theme. Perhaps "Elite Event and Equipment Rental"

I don’t like the word ‘elite’. Find another e word, not essential.

I picked the name for my company based on some really dumb logic. American Entitlements. It says absolutely nothing about what we do. I picked the name so I would be towards the front of the phone book. It did not dawn on me until months later that nobody uses the phone book!

Well One Source went south, already in business, and looks to be a franchise.

No one knows what e&e means except you. Unless you spell it out in the logos or somewhere. With some of the other suggestions at least they know what type of business you are in.

Our registered name is Featherston Partners LLC our dba is Texas Outdoors Landscape Contractor. No mistaken what we do.

Lastly your registered name is the only one that can’t conflict with another. Your dba can be whatever you want regardless.
