Hud, quit feeding that protein 24/7 and make em come out to eat corn when you want them to.
Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

Very nice buck and appears to be at least 5.5 years old! Good luck
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Hud, I believe you are down south and if so, probably guessing in an area that experienced much more rain than normal this year.
A couple relatives and friends who hunt east of IH34 and south of Dilley area are seeing very, very few deer at all even on corned senderos and said the ones that do come out only stop for a minute or two and then are gone. Just far too green and the brush is still 'popping' so they dang sure don't need to come out to eat right now on those place. I suspect if they get a frost it'll change in a hurry and hopefully that happens this month before the pre-rut activity starts.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Someone, a very nice someone, talked me into it. May be emptying it out soon. We'll see.
