We had an issue with raccoons getting into our camp house. They made a mess, crapped on the floor, and some bedding. I put on rubber gloves, picked up the crap, and threw it out the door. I then looked up this issue online, and learned that raccoon scat can harbor roundworm, and only heat will kill it. Bleach and other cleaners are said not to work. It also said that roundworm eggs can become airborne, and breathed in. Any thoughts on this? I try to be careful, without being paranoid.

I would say either tighten up the camp house, or burn the dam thing and start over. I've seen one or two "cabins" that no sane person should sleep in in this day and age; it'd be healthier to sleep under the stars.

Duke's dog-proof traps all around as soon as you can.
