I was talking to a buddy of mine who has one of these sights and wants to sell it and go to an Airmpoint. He wants $300 for it. I did some research and have found out that the one he has is the CR123 battery powered model, so it's not in the recall group from 2016-2017. He's going to Aimpoint because of the greatly extended battery life. The EO Tech only gets 600 hours of run time; the Aimpoint gets thousands of hours of run time. I will probably never have to change the battery if I buy the EO Tech! Do any of you have experience with this sight, and if you do, is the $300 a fair asking price? I can't find anything but "new" pricing in my research. Thanks for any help you can give me.

That is a really good price for it. Normally on AR15.com they go for 400-425 uses. I was looking a one of the same models for my super short 300BLK build but my astigmatism makes it look like a blur. I stayed with my Aimpoint PRO even though it looks like a star burst on lower setting it works fine for me.
