Gavin took this 10 around 8 am this morning. Baylor county. 6.5 grendel shooting a 123gr ELD. No pass through, but dropped him in his tracks at 110 yards. Gavin was drawn for the Mason county doe hunt today but passed that opportunity to chase this deer and looks like he made the right call. He was also drawn for the Chaparral either sex youth hunt end of December, so looks like he’s set up for a good season and I’m in for a high taxidermy bill this year.
