Looks mature, if it’s not an AR county I would shoot him. We had one years ago that had a weird side for multiple years due to an injury and I shot him as a 5 year old but he grew straight out so no issues with AR’s. [Linked Image]

I got a funky one last year. Mulie just south of Amarillo. He had an old healed bullet wound in the ankle on the left side and as always happens it affected the antler on the opposite side.

No doubt he has two branched antlers so he would have to be 13" in an AR county. That angle makes it hard to tell for sure.

Great mass, no go in AR county. I like the two raccoons in the background.

Big ol brute of a buck

Unfortunately, one that the AR rule keeps alive another year.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I can't be sure base on those angles, but I think there's a pretty good chance it's just over 13". If you measure from the widest points it looks like you would have to pull the tape at an angle which would add more distance. Definitely a roll of the dice.

You can't pull the tape at an angle when measuring spread. It is done but that is not the correct way to measure inside spread.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
