What’s yours?

Of those I’ve attended, it’d have to be Val Verde. I don’t miss any country in this world as much as I do that which resides there. As much as I love the Rocky Mountains, I would venture south, more times than not.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I love that country, too. I really should see more of it than I have.

Palo Pinto, been all over the state and still like the mountains, hardwoods and Brazos better than any of the rest.

Starr, Zapata, Webb, Hidalgo, are out. As crummy as Presidio is, the county is still nice, but since I live in western Val Verde that would be my top choice.

It sure can. I grew up in Parker County. Love it there, but I’m more of a western kind of guy.

Jeff Davis. I don't get out that way much anymore but it's my favorite.

What do you do for a living in that country, if you don’t mind my asking?

Wherever I am at the time. Texas has boundless beauty in virtually county.

Sure, like anywhere else, there are good areas and not-so-good areas.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
