Some things I just don't want to see the inside of, that is one of them.

The reason we don't shoot rabbits all year long. Saw this in summer swamp rabbits growing up north of Houston. We called them wool worms, looks similar to new born lamb fleece. I sent a letter to TP&W many years ago asking about this but got no response (early 70s).

First time I ever saw one was when I was a teen hunting squirrels in the big woods of Georgia. I had shot a couple that morning and was sitting under a tree looking for more squirrels. I had laid down the 2 I shot and happened to look down and noticed something black was crawling out of the neck of one of the squirrels. Seemed to be a black grub of some sort. I flicked it off and kept the squirrels anyway. They cooked up just fine.

I watched something similar to this crawl out of a buck's nose a few minutes after he was shot a few years back. Can't imagine what it would feel like to have that hangin' out in your nose.

That’s actually pretty common. I’ve killed a few deer that had dozens in their nasal cavities. Sometimes when just watching deer you can hear them sneezing and shaking their heads because of them.

That's interesting, I'll have to pay more attention this year. They look like they would make good fish bait!

We were going dove hunting one time. On the way one of the guys had to take a bad one. He crapped one of those at buccees on I10. It turned out to be one of those baby Alien monsters like in the movies. It chased us around the store but we got out. Left our buddy, never seen him since. I can't remember what we told his wife.
Thanks, Billy
