All ammo and guns are pulled and this store will not even look for ammo for you.
The girl in sporting goods said corporate orders were that it was all to be pulled for a few weeks.
She said this happened a few months back, (I do not recall this) and it was all put back after a few weeks. I am thinking during the riots.

I was in Academy yesterday. Picked over as usual, but still a fair amount of rifle ammo on the shelves. I'll check our local WalMart tonight.

2 weeks ago I stopped at an Academy on the east side of Houston and they had no firearms or ammo. I asked if they sold out of everything. The kid told me that they start taking everything off display at 7:30pm and stop selling anything firearm related at 8pm. I never heard of such a thing.

Are they pulling shot-shells from the open shelves too?

They didn't even have any shot shells when I went in to academy. I wwent to get buck shot and/or slugs but there was none of either.

I commend them. If nothing is more clear than its ever been, the police can’t protect every place and Walmart doesn’t want looters to get firearms. That’s the correct move to make....make sure you vote accordingly, it’s pretty clear which party promotes the unrest versus wants it stopped.

I hate to say it, but yeah, Walmart and Academy are right. With the "civil unrest" that we have seen, and with what everyone knows is coming, they have to protect their stock.

I hope you all get through this intact. This isn't good news for us either, for several years now those behind the trouble down there have been importing it into Canada, trying to get us involved.
