If I'm not going to be fined, I don't have to renew. It's in the Geneva Convention

I don't do DU, don't agree with their politics or their view on habitat management (or lack of).
If we are going to pay a higher price for a Fed stamp then I'd like to see where the money goes and see it where it is truly needed to increase duck numbers so that we have more to shoot. Considering most of our birds come from across the border - how are they going to help in the Canada pothole region?
I'm not just going to spend my money so that I get a warm fuzzy feeling about helping ducks....

IF I had any faith whatsoever that the federal government has the ability to do anything efficiently and effectively, I'd be in.

BIG IF

Texas does a terrible job managing the available public resources (hardly any) - and is sitting on 1,000s of acres of land that's state owned by not open to the public. I agree with you there. It's embarrassing.

But with that said - duck stamp is Fed $$$...not sure how much is spent in Texas - what small amount is spent on the coast.
