Braved the elements this morning (31 and sleeting) to check a couple of feeders. First feeder I found two little piggies, all by themselves. First shot took one of them down and the other one started running around and around her dead sister, squealing like she'd been hit herself. She wouldn't stop running so I took a running shot at her and connected, a bit far back, but the 130 grain HotCor and a very small piglet was a deadly combo. (And no, they didn't tie themselves up; I did, for their trip to the bone yard.) Next feeder I found a whole sounder working, shot the largest one and the rest ran off. After a couple of minutes, the black and white one came back to check things out, so I took her down. Was about to go gather them up, when a third little piggy appeared and I popped her. So in about a 45 minutes I whacked 5 piggies and darned near froze my hands and feet off! I was expecting very little action and, unfortunately, dressed accordingly. My bad.

Yes, sir, der Teufel, you got the cold part down exactly. I'm beginning to get feelings back in my hands and feet, so I have hope that they'll return to normal by supper time.
