Smart watches are gamer changers. I have had fossil and apple. The function of an apple watch paired with Iphone is better but I liked the looks of the fossil watch.

You do know your phone tracks you, right? Unless you want to stick with the old flip phone.

As far as the watch, I have one and I like it. It can track exercise and a ton of other things, and I can reject phone calls without even reaching for my phone.

Too big for my taste but the wifey loves hers. Go for it!

I just don’t get the whole Rolex thing. Nothing about them say “I’m worth 5 grand” Maybe I’m just THAT classless or tasteless.

I don't get it either. I'm still wearing the same $150 Fossil I've had for 5 years, just replaced the battery a month or so ago. It keeps the time and date and I can use it as a stop watch if I wanted to. I'd rather look at my wrist than pull out my phone to check the time.

I have a Garmin. I didn’t want texts or emails or phone calls on my watch, but I do like having an activity tracker. This one tracks steps, heart rate, sleep, stress, body battery, exercise, etc and has an app to show you your trends for all of that (and you can add food, water, weight, etc). Apple Watch does all that plus the phone stuff. I wasn’t going to use the phone stuff, so I didn’t get an Apple Watch. I’m happy with my choice. If she doesn’t need the text, email and calls, might look at some of the other options.

Why do you need a watch when you have a phone?

I have a 5 and really like it's uses, excellent to tell me to get off my jazz and move around.
