Do you guys use them? I find them to be extremely effective. While looking out one sendero, I keep the ones behind me closed to avoid being silhouetted. The sun tore up my original set. Wifeypoo got busy and hooked me up with a replacement set. Back out the screws on the top of the window, run a wire and good to go.

We have them in every blind we have. I pull out the sewing machine and make ours from scratch to fit the blind.

I have wires on the bottom as well so when the wind blows the curtains don't wave like a flag.

I think curtains are a must have.
I use burlap and replace it when it falls apart.

Absolutely Hudbone. I have always used them but mine usually are not as pretty and fancy as yours!
I used to just hang a thin wire above each window and then use burlap sack material on the wire.

Hell, you even have a upscale leather office chair to relax in to! grin

All my blinds have them now...even all the blinds on past ranches had them. I have even built blinds for specific locations with offset windows to hide your silhouette. I like smaller windows for this reason and also do not put a window in the door. Even set the blind back against a good canopy tree to help. Here is what we had on a ranch I managed...the same owner now has the same setup on his new ranch and blinds. He uses a wire on top and bottom of window so he can slide the curtains side to side...he has two curtains per window. Another ranch I go to uses shade cloth with grommet holes and also a solid piece of canvas cover with grommet holes to cover every window in every blind...they have 9 windows per blind. Large blinds also.

That said, I will not make a shot unless I can anchor up my elbow/arm so I can really see how that rest helps a lot!!!

What you don't see is the milk crate in the corner of the blind. That is so you can put a foot on the top of the crate and then rest your elbow on that knee or leg to support it. Rock solid rest after that.

Both blinds have curtains. Both are from cheap thin throw blankets cut to size with the exception of one window is from an old pair of camo pants. I use brass cup hooks to hang them.

Nothing more is needed than hand towels. The only reason I put in real curtains is Wifeypoo was "horrified".

Very good idea on the milk crate stxr!!!
Great thinking for sure and day and night difference getting that elbow on a solid rest.

Have some curtains, need more.

On our blinds we always build with windows on all sides, but usually there is 1 side we block out the window on as it looks into solid brush etc.

I am on my second set in my blind. They are a must if you ask me. They also help keeping the sun out when I first get in my blind and it is hot. My wife bought camo material both times and made them.
