I know you frequent Scheels...they got one you might want to look at. Pre-Garcia Sako Deluxe L61 Finnbear in 30-06. Absolutely beautiful 50 year old gun. It was priced $1200-1300 (cant' remember the exact price).

need to get my knee fixed so I can participate in the shooting sports. Worrying now how I'm gonna climb into the deer box.
I'm shopping, may build a 6mmBR in January while I rehab.
Been spending a lot of $$ lately, vacation and A.R.E fiberglass , tonneau cover and Rigid light bar on my truck
