Since they treated us good on my dads bow. I went ahead and went to scheels and bought the 31.5 vxr. Qad rest and fast eddie xl sight. Some fmj arrows to go with it. And my ultraview scope should be showing up soon.

Now I just have to decide on stabilizers as I’m not sure what I want to go with but I do know I’m gonna have to run a rear one.

Awesome Brother. I have the Vertix and love it. That 31.5 VXR has been getting my attention though. I run bee stinger stabilizers on mine with a 10 degree down quick disconnect on the front. Also one thing ive learned recently from John Dudley is make sure your peep is tied in.

Thanks, Peep is tied in, but I need to shoot it a bunch and break these strings in. Can't decide if I just want to sight it in now and hunt with it this weekend or wait until the ultraview scope comes before I sight it in...

Bee stinger is what I was looking at for the stabilizers, I like the Mathews but they just want too much money for them.

Yes Mathews does like to jack prices up. like charging extra for QAD rest with their name on it. Same rest but pay more $ for the Mathews name.

Bee Stinger makes some very good products.

Myself I use a stabilizer from the early 80s still, have yet to try one that dampens vibration lile the ones with a mercury chamber inside them that I have tried.

New sight showed up today. Ultraview hunting scope. Started shooting at sixty to get my sight tape dialed in.

Finally had some time to shoot it out to sixty and get the sight tape on. Then went back to 20 to make sure everything is good and I am very consistently 1 inch high so have a little adjusting to do
