I could pick a few out of STx pics but one in particular (just a little short on mass) would be my dream buck. I better not post the pics, yall can just dream along with me.

I've got a 188 6/8" LF WT so it's a 200" Mule deer.

Snake, I assume you shared pics of the 189 before my time. You wanna share again?

I am losing the land that I have hunted for the last 12 years (i have another place just down the road) at the conclusion on this season. My dream deer would be a 5.5 year old or older buck. While I enjoy a larger vs. smaller set of horns. When I first hunted this place, I was happy with any legal buck (AR county). In the intervening years, I worked on aging deer and didn't shoot anything less that 4.5 years old. I have let a number of 3.5 year old 10 pts walk that would have easily been my largest deer ever....but I really enjoy hunting more than killing and I wanted to see what happened if I let them grow a little older. Two of the deer that I let walk were killed later and really blew up to something spectacular...and I am ever hopeful. I have two potential shooters on camera and there is always the opportunity that one will walk in that I have never seen.

This has been the best hunting place that I have ever had. I get to hunt with a nephew and we do our small part to manage the property and we both enjoy that. I would just like to have my last day on the place to end with a fully mature deer...maybe in a little snow with a bitterly cold North wind.

What did that deer look like on the hoof?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I wouldnt of been looking at it long enough to tell you. That rack takes up about as much space as any buck I have ever seen alive or dead. EXTREMELY impressed. He could easily be my Dream Buck for a Mulie if his front forks were just a little deeper/longer and just a hair more mass(yeah, I know, some folks would mess up a wet dream.)

Got lucky on that buck for sure. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was 36" wide (30.5" inside main beam), 27" main beams, 22" backs, and grossed (green) 213 4/8". After the 60 drying period he netted 204 6/8" net typical.
