What chips do you use for your nachos? I end up throwing half of mine away, or pouring milk over them and eating them like cornflakes. Anymore uses for the broken ones?

I make my chips for nachos out of corn tortillas. Way better than store bought. You can season them with your own creation.

We use Santititas or something like that. I have a 17 year old boy here at the house, crumbs are non existent, all food is inhaled rather than eaten.

Love homemade chips but OTB or santitas chips are good in a pinch. Crumbs go in a bowl with a little grated cheese, toss in microwave for 30 seconds, add pico / salsa and enjoy.

Same. I use corn and flour. No comparison to homemade.

The best way IMO is to fry them in a cast iron skillet in a bbq pit with mesquite wood on the hot side when the meat is done. Chop your fajitas up (or pulled pork) shrimp/whatever and build nacho hot plates right there. Fresh fried ships, refried beans, meat, jalapenos & lots of cheese and throw back on the pit to melt the cheese. Top with fresh homemade salsa and can add grilled onions & cilantro if you wish. Speaking of which, it's time to do that again. clap

I wished Doritos would bring back the actual plain Dorito chips. No cheese dust.
