Pretty sure pappas owns a lot of different restaurants. If there the same ones I’m thinking about. There’s a pappas steak house here in Houston aswell.

I’ve never had their BBQ, it’s always too busy. My brother says the Mexican is decent.

For breakfast, a Brazilian place called Zaguan on Oak Lawn is friggin amazing

Or if you’re a baller, Nick and Sams for a steakhouse. Del Friscos seems good enough for me and mine for the time being.

Chilangos Tacos on Harry Hines has been probably the best taco joint I’ve had the past few months but the ambiance sucks! bang

BIL’s North of 121 idea is ALL nice

Grapevine, no need to go to Dallas. It's not the small town I grew up in anymore. Lots of great food, brewery, shops along Main St and the lake is nice.

I wouldn't take a kid to Pappas. Medieval Times would be great for a 2.5 year old, we had a birthday party there for my boy when he turned 4, he absolutely loved it. Pay extra for VIP. Gaylord is good place to stay.

My 1 year old loved Perry’s, he would probably love Pappas too. My kid isn’t picky about what he eats, steak, potatoes, and turnip greens are among his favorites

Another decent area would be the McKinney Square day or night, Ricks, The Yard( kid friendly), Local Yocal

I wouldn’t get out of my car at night between ValleyView ln in Farmers Branch and Waxahachie.

You might look at Great Wolf in Grapevine. Grapevine has the Gaylord, aquarium, crayola experience, a safe shopping zone, and good food and you probably won’t get mugged like Dallas
