The wife and I went to do our civic duty the other day, and I have to say, I was impressed with the people running the voting. I handed the lady my drivers license behind the plexiglass and she looked it over real good. Then she started looking at me... right in my eyes. She says... “Sir, I need you to remove your hat for me please”. I couldn’t believe it... I haven't been carded that hard since I was in High School trying to pick up a six’er. I wanted to give her a hug for doing her job so well.

My dad saw another good thing when he went to vote (at a different location than me). The lady in front of him gave the person behind the glass her license, and the lady said...”ma’am... it shows here you requested a mail in ballot?” The lady trying to vote said, “yeah”. “Well, I can’t let you vote in person unless you give me that ballot” said the poll worker. The lady said she had left it at home, and asked if she could just vote real quick and then run it back up there to them. “Nope!... that’s not how this works” said the poll worker, and the lady was turned away.

I’m still a little worried about corruption, but really like what we are seeing here in McKinney.

Now GO VOTE!!!

I voted near McKinney and it was locked down nice and tight as well. I'd imagine the shenanigans are occuring in dem led shtholes.

I didnt care for the old codger that was scoping out my ballot as he was instructing me on how to insert it into the depository. I handed the lady behind the plexiglass my DL and voters registration card. She then asked if I still lived at that address. Held my tongue and answered yes. How else would I gotten a new voter registration card?

Did mine today - Cooke county. Went real smooth - in and out in 5 min.
Ballot started out as a blank sheet with just a barcode on it - after making selections 'electronically', it printed just the names of the parties selected, and a barcode for each - no way to 'misread' votes if having to verify manually

Also, can go onto county's website, and see my name listed on tally of voters for the day you voted.

I voted in Frisco last Thursday, No wait and no body in line.

They gave me a q tip via metal tongs, You use the q tip to touch the screen instead of your finger.

Quick and easy and lots of people there to help you if needed

Well ran operations.......

They were making everyone pull masks down here too. It made me feel good to know at least someone is making sure people are who they say they are.

We have the exact same experience every election. We vote early and in person every election because I work out of state and it’s just easier for our schedule.....

Every single time, same 4-6 ladies working. We go in with ID and Voter card in hand. They verify us against their rolls and ask if we still live there (after greeting us by name as we walk in the door clap). Then escort us to the machine and set it up. Hand us a sticker and say “see ya next time” as we head for the door.

Same as it’s been for the past fifteen years.....love small town Texas! texas

EDIT: No masks required. Worn by only a few

No mask were required at my location. But it's a brand new senior center the city just built and everyone working there was pretty old, I put a mask on for their safety...

My wife and I voted today.

In and out in 10 minutes. No line, my wife is just anal about making all of the box the same shade of black.

The scanner reads mine just fine.

We voted on Tuesday and we were in and out in 10 minutes. All the workers were very polite and efficient.

2016 was a different story. Real surly worker behind the table commented to another worker there were too !@#$ many Republicans coming in.

Let's hope that problem is even worse this time!
