I looked at their inventory and they have a bunch of city trucks right now. Everything was street tires. I'm not going to buy a new truck and then blow 800 bucks on off road tires.

Trust me. He can get whatever you want. He got mine from San Antonio.

He ordered my sequoia exactly how I wanted and still got $ off. Dude is legit

Having said that, there is something special about a brand new car.

My thought is if you find a 1-2 yo vehicle with low miles, there’s probably something wrong with it. I’ve traded in a couple turds with less miles than that.

With Toyota I’ve found end of January seems to be the best time to buy. I think their year end is technically January 31.

Isn't that the bigger brother to the Honda Ridgeline?

I got it for 14% off the sticker price. I'm happy with the deal and the Toyota center console gun safe is pretty neat!

Nope. I gave up on the army green. They want full sticker price for them and they get it. I'd rather save 7200 bucks.

That’s a nice truck! Sounds like you got a good deal. And if you got treated right and are happy then that’s what’s important. Congrats!

I bought mine during the year model close out.

Same here. 15% off msrp. I shopped several dealers and made some offers via the internet and email. I walked out on one deal and when they never called back I pretty much knew where the bottom was. They copped an attitude on my trade. When they made their best offer and I said fine I will sell myself the one dude looked at me and said good luck with that. I said it is a clean Tacoma and you know I will have no problem selling. I hate it when sales people start whining.

I disagree

+1, on Toyota anyways especially right now. Used Tundras are at a premium.

Not a fan of the 20" rims on a 4x4 but that is the only way to get a decent tire off road from the factory. My deer lease is hard on tires. I wanted a TRD OR until I saw the TSS with BFGs. BFGs are not good in mud but they are tough with solid sidewalls. I will get 70k out of mine well before they hit the wear bars and never a flat. [Linked Image]

I now want a new one, but like you will wait until I retire and use my sick time check.

The green Taco to the left of it is 21 years old and runs like new, which is why I stayed with Toyota. Hopefully my Tundra lasts like it has.
