Oh man, does he.....
He's woken me up several times in the night when he is asleep on the porch whimpering and i'll watch him out the window, his paws are running but he is fast asleep.

I did that twice, well, i tried, didn't get past him, one time i snuck around the front of the house up the driveway (Which is about 100 feet long) it was dark, and i had my big bulky jacket on, i came walking down the driveway shuffling my feet, and both of them came running from the back porch half asleep, and stopped about 20 feet away from me and stared at me, ears perked up... then they started running towards me yapping, and licking... so either they recognized my scent or we need better guard dogs..
